Upload Your Videos

There are two ways to upload video into SVN-TV.  The first method is for uploading videos that are on your computer.  The second is to upload videos that are on another server such as YouTube, SchoolTube, Vimeo, Google, or many others.
First:  you must be a registered user of SVNTV to upload ANY videos.  Simply go to the REGISTER tab on the menu bar and complete the information requested.  You will get an email from us that will be used to confirm your registration. After you confirm your registration, you will be able to upload your videos.
SVNTV is a moderated site.  This means that we reserve the right to preview any submissions.  Any videos that we deem to be inappropriate will NOT be accepted. 
How to upload videos from your local computer
Select 'Upload' from the navigation tabs
To start the upload process click on the Upload link from the main navigation tabs above the video gallery.

Select 'Upload a video from my computer' from the select box
Select the option Upload a video from my computer from the select box and click on Continue to proceed.

Enter your video information
Enter all your video information into the boxes. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for people to find your video. Please complete all sections, if any information is missing you will be asked to complete that section.

Use the upload tool
The SVN-TV software has three separate upload methods to help you upload video files. The website administrator can use either of these methods.

This upload method is a basic tool that allows you to select a video file from your local computer and upload it.

This upload method allows you to select a video file from your computer. It will tell you if your file is suitable to upload and display a progress bar to inform you how much of the file has been uploaded.

How to add videos from an external website
Select 'Upload' from the navigation tabs
To start the upload process click on the Upload link from the main navigation tabs above the video gallery.

Select the external website from the select box
Select the external website option from the list and click on Continue to proceed.

Enter the Video URL
Copy and paste the Video URL from the external website that contains the video you want to add. Click on the 'Add' button and the video details will be extracted from the external website.

Confirmation Page
You should see a confirmation page which will confirm the video details. You can use this page to check SVNTV has got the title, description and thumbnail image correct. If you wish to change any data or upload a new thumbnail you can use this page.
